“Go North Young Man” – a letter received when I was 21

 

 

 

I drove north from Colorado that Summer.

Later this April, I will have resided in Alaska for 20 years.

I take pride in what I have done, what I have made (of myself), from the good advice I was given.

Not sure that many expect it; some didn’t think it possible –

but I listened.

And it has been worth every bit of It, too.
